Dan Ralley, Assistant City Manager, City of Upper Arlington, was recently appointed Chair of the Membership Services Committee by the OCMA Board at the August 24, 2017 board meeting. He replaces Patrick Titterington, City Manager, City of Troy, who serves as an OCMA Board Member. Mr. Ralley served as Vice-Chair of the Membership Services Committee for the past year where he was involved with website management and functionality issues and membership recruitment and follow-up efforts. Past OCMA involvement includes help with developing the original OCMA website as well as the current website.
Mr. Ralley is a Worthington native and spent five years as city manager of Petoskey, Michigan. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years as village administrator for the village of Cardinton, Ohio. Ralley has served as Assistant City Manager of Upper Arlington for the past three years. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Chicago and a master of public administration and juris doctor degrees from Syracuse University.
When asked what interests him about the Membership Services Committee, Mr. Ralley noted that he is very supportive of OCMA. The large number of students and the next generation focus along with other professional organization collaborations and joint marketing endeavors will work to strengthen OCMA as an organization.
