Membership Services, co-chaired by Mark Schwieterman and James Mehaffie, welcomes and shares information with new members and works to strengthen communications among the general membership including through the newsletter and the web site.

Support of the Profession, chaired by Dave Anderson, develops initiatives to retain and promote the use of professional local government managers and the council manager form of government and activities to strengthen OCMA’s relationships with Ohio colleges and universities and other professional organizations.  The committee also oversees OCMA’s “Next Generation” initiative.

Professional Development and Education Committee, chaired by Michelle Crandall, identifies professional development and educational needs of the members, assists in the design of conferences and promotes training opportunities for members.
