The Ohio City/County Management Association (OCMA) is the professional and educational association for appointed administrators serving cities, villages, townships and counties within Ohio. Membership is available to any such local government professional administrator. Ohio City/County Management Association exists to encourage the professional and personal growth of local government administrators who share its members' commitment to a system of values based in ethical, non-partisan public policy decision-making. Ohio City/County Management Association works to support professional administrators in the performance of their duties through educational and informational sharing programs and through dissemination of ethical standards. Moreover, the Association strives to effectively promote the Council-Manager form of government and to bring the benefits of the Council-Manager Plan to as many Ohio communities as possible. Both Ohio City/County Management Association and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) advocate council-manager government as the best vehicle for providing local government management, while acknowledging that professionalism exists in many non-council-manager communities served by ICMA/OCMA members. The following is a listing of the communities served by Ohio City/County Management Association members. Web sites for many of these communities can be accessed by clicking on that city community if it is underlined when you position your cursor over it.
