JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs administrative work in carrying out the direction of the Director of Public Service and Safety on a wide range of municipal administrative issues; including but not limited to economic development, human resources, and financial administration; assists the Director of Public Service and Safety in working with designated departments towards the achievement of departmental objectives and the objectives of the City government as a whole; advises the Director of Public Service and Safety on the determination of special project needs, the preparation and presentation of special projects for the consideration of City Council, and the implementation of approved projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration or closely related field, Master’s Degree preferred; progressive experience in economic development, risk management, human resources, or public administration.
