MAPS Inclusive and Anti-Bias Writing Practices in Public Service

Offered by the John Glenn College of Public Affairs ,The Ohio State University, MAPS (Management Advancement for the Public Service) courses are interactive, one-day, skill-based training for city and county employees at all career levels.

Course Description
In this course, participants will learn the foundations of inclusive and anti-bias language and how to apply this lens to their writing, editing, and document review practices. This course will define bias-free language and provide examples of how it can be incorporated into professional writing practices.
