Under the direction of the City Manager, this is an executive leadership position within the City Administration team. The position leads and directs all operations of the Planning and Development Department, including leading Planning, Code Enforcement, Building, and Engineering divisions. Work involves directing department activities by providing professional and technical expertise to guide current and long range land use decisions, infrastructure planning, transportation, and compliance with all planning and code documents.  Oversees the departmental plan and budget as well as leads the City’s 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). This position will also represent the City Administration in local, regional, and state-wide conversations.
