We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! In this role you will have responsibility for a wide variety of highly responsible, complex, and diverse professional duties involved in providing administrative, analytical, and technical support to County Administration. Considerable independent judgment, discretion, and initiative are exercised in carrying out daily activities. The position may oversee and direct the activities of various department personnel on assigned projects and work closely with the County Administration to provide leadership oversight on various key strategic initiatives and operational issues.

Summary of Job Duties:
Works with County Administrator and Board of  County Commissioners  to ensure full understanding and implementation of board directives.
Assist County Administrator and Assistant County Administrator on policy and monitors target policy issues and provides policy recommendations.
Monitors and assesses proposed legislation for policy and financial impacts to the county.
Performs special tasks, tracks and directs multiple projects and makes recommendations to the County Administrator and Assistant County Administrators on critical matters.
Works with Department Directors and/or Division Managers to monitor interpretation and implementation of strategies and policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
Five years of increasingly responsible administrative and analytical experience in a local government environment and working with elected officials.

132 East Court St.  Cincinnati, Oh. 45202
40 Hour Work Week, generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30
