City Manager

The City of Canfield (est. pop. 8000), a charming city located in Mahoning County, Ohio, is seeking a visionary City Manager to provide professional, ethical, and transparent leadership in the management of the city. The City Manager’s principal responsibilities include assisting members of the City Council in formulating policies and responding to City Council issues and concerns. The City Manager ensures the effective coordination and implementation of public policies, programs, and initiatives through efficient and effective cooperation and collaboration with City Council and all city departments. Canfield is a small, quaint, and close-knit community that provides a high quality of life for its residents. The starting salary range for this position is $125,000 – $150,000. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience, or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the skills and abilities to perform the work.
