The City of Grandview Heights is accepting applications for the position of Strategy & Engagement Manager. Are you organized and passionate about engaging with the community? Join our team! We are looking for an organized and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment to oversee the City’s communications and public relations strategy under the supervision of the Director of Administration while also having the opportunity to work on various projects. Daily activities may include content development, social media management, project assistance, the creation of informational collateral, correspondence with the general public or external partners, working on outreach initiatives, preparing written material such as press releases, and brand compliance.  This position will work across all City departments on a broad scope of service-oriented topics. Prior experience in communications, public relations, or crisis management is preferred.

Starting compensation is dependent on qualifications and experience, with an expected starting salary of $65,000-75,000. The target hiring salary range for this vacancy is based on applicable experience, skill set and technical abilities. Appointment is conditional upon pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background investigation.
